We built Sevyi to help you save money — not to harvest your data. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why, and what we never do.

What Sevyi is

Sevyi is a Chrome browser extension that tracks product prices on Amazon UAE (amazon.ae) and Noon (noon.com). When you visit a supported product page, Sevyi automatically reads the product details and price, displays price history charts, shows coupon codes, and lets you compare the same product across stores.

Sevyi is operated as an independent product. By installing and using the extension, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

What data we collect

Product & price data
When you visit a product page on Amazon UAE or Noon, Sevyi reads the product title, ASIN or product ID, current price, original price, and image URL. This data is sent to our servers to build price history charts and enable cross-store comparison. It is not linked to your identity unless you are signed in and have set a price alert.
Account data (optional — only if you sign in)
If you choose to sign in with Google, we store your email address and Google profile ID to sync your price alerts across devices. We never access your Google Drive, Gmail, Google Photos, or any other Google service. Sign-in is entirely optional — Sevyi's core features work without an account.
Price alert preferences
If you set a price alert, we store your target price alongside the product listing ID and your user ID. This is the minimum data needed to notify you when the price drops.
Extension storage
Sevyi uses Chrome's storage.local API to cache your authentication session locally on your device, so you stay signed in across Amazon UAE and Noon without re-authenticating.

How we use your data

We use the data we collect only for the following purposes:

To power price history
Product and price data is stored in our database to build the 90-day price history charts you see in the Sevyi panel.
To send price drop alerts
When a product you've tracked drops to your target price, we use your email to notify you. You can delete your alert at any time from within the extension.
To enable cross-store comparison
Product identifiers are used to match the same product across Amazon UAE and Noon so you can instantly see the best price.

Data storage & security

All data is stored securely in Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted on infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. We use row-level security policies to ensure users can only access their own data.

Price and product data is anonymised — it is not linked to your account unless you are signed in and have an active price alert on that product.

Sevyi only activates on amazon.ae and noon.com. It does not read, monitor, or transmit data from any other website you visit.

What we never do

✓ We do not sell your data — ever, to anyone, under any circumstances.

✓ We do not track your browsing outside of Amazon UAE and Noon.

✓ We do not show ads based on your personal data or browsing behaviour.

✓ We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

✓ We do not access your Google Drive, Gmail, or any other Google service beyond basic sign-in.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can:

Delete your account & data
Email us at support@sevyi.app and we will permanently delete your account and all associated personal data within 30 days.
Remove price alerts
You can delete individual price alerts directly from within the Sevyi extension panel at any time.
Uninstall the extension
Uninstalling Sevyi from Chrome immediately stops all data collection. Any locally cached session data is removed by the browser.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify users via the extension.

Continued use of Sevyi after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
